Biography

Dr. Moutaz began his one-year internship at King Abdullah University Hospital in 2010. He started his career at Jordanian Medical Service as a General Surgery Resident. In 2018, Dr. Moutaz earned his Board-Eligible Surgeon status, followed by certification as a Certified Board Surgeon. Dr. Moutaz is a highly qualified and experienced medical professional with ten years of experience in general surgery. He is licensed to practice General Surgery by the Jordanian Medical Council (Jordanian Board of General Surgery). He is a qualifying Member of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and the Royal College of Surgeons at Edinburgh, where he performed a great experience. He worked in one of Jordan’s leading hospitals, King Hussein Medical City, Royal Medical Services, where he held senior management positions and helped build the hospital’s reputation. Dr. Moutaz is certified by the American Heart Association in Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACL). His clinical expertise includes but is not limited to the following, 

• Oncosurgery specialists mainly in head and neck surgery, thyroid, and parathyroid (head and neck cancers)  
• Gastrointestinal surgery 
• Minimal invasive surgery (laparoscopy)
