Biography

Dr. Sahithi Nishtala is an Oncology Imaging Radiologist with special interest in cancer imaging particularly gastrointestinal, gynecological, hematological and Body Imaging. After completing her Radiology training, she has a post CCT fellowship in oncology imaging and PET CT from The Christie Hospital NHS Trust, which is one of the largest specialty Oncology centers in the UK and Europe. Prior to joining Burjeel Medical City, Abu Dhabi, she has worked as a Consultant Radiologist with special interest in gastrointestinal and hematology imaging at University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust, UK, which is a busy tertiary level referral centre for trauma, neurosurgery treatment and surgery of all types of cancers including complex surgical and non-surgical treatments. She is experienced in reporting cancer scans including FDG-PET /CT (fluorodeoxyglucose) and complex post operative and post treatment scans. She is also proficient in performing ultrasound and CT guided biopsies and drains in the body. Dr. Sahithi has multiple posters and presentations at a variety of National and International conferences including European Society of Gastrointestinal and Abdominal Imaging and Radiological Society of North America.
