Dr. Mohammad Fityan carries an accomplishments-filled track-record in Internal Medicine and Obesity Medicine. His educational background comprises a Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) Degree from the Al-Mustansiriyah University, Iraq, followed by an Internal Medicine Residency at the Wayne State University School of Medicine, Michigan, USA. Dr. Fityan also has licenses from the Board of Medicine-Physicians and the Board of Pharmacy Controlled Substance, both from the State of Michigan, USA. He is also a certified professional in basic life support and advanced cardiac life support training programs. On the teaching and training front, Dr. Fityan is a Clinical Assistant Professor and has mentored and advised medical students and residents in the subject of internal medicine in a significant role. He has also occupied several positions of honor, including being the Diversity Committee Chair, Student Clerkship Director, House Officer, Code Blue Committee Member, Residency Wellbeing Committee Chair, Sepsis Committee member and health disparities Committee at the Wayne State University and Ascension Providence Rochester Hospital, Rochester, Michigan, USA., in addition to handling responsibilities as Lecturer, Periodic Evaluator and Trainer.
