Dr. Imthiaz Manoly is an experienced Cardiothoracic Surgeon from the United Kingdom. He has worked at various premiere institutes in England including University College London Hospital, Manchester University Hospitals and University Hospital of Southampton. He obtained FRCS in Cardiac and Thoracic surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of England. He further did Fellowship in Aortic and Heart Failure surgery at University of Manitoba in Canada. After gaining reasonable proficiency in complex Aortic surgery, he gained experience in the surgical management of heart and lung failure by working at premiere heart and lung transplant centres including KIMS Hospital in Hyderabad, Freeman Hospital and Royal Papworth Hospital in the United Kingdom. He is academically accomplished with a degree of PhM for his research work on gene therapy in the modification of vein graft failure from the University of Manchester. He has participated in and presented at various international cardiac and thoracic conferences. He has published in various peer reviewed journals (I Manoly publications) and is currently a reviewer for many reputed medical journals. He has actively mentored many students in the United Kingdom and Saudi Arabia and has been a faculty member for surgical skills courses internationally. He is currently trying to establish a Cardiovascular research unit in Abu Dhabi with international collaboration.
