Biography

Dr. Duke has extensive experience treating children and adults with congenital heart disease. He has been a Consultant Pediatric Cardiologist for more than 20 years. Before joining Burjeel Medical City, he was a consultant at a reputed government hospital, Abu Dhabi. Dr Duke’s areas of expertise include pediatric electrophysiology, pediatric cardiac catheterization and intervention, interventional procedures in adults with congenital heart disease and adult structural heart disease intervention. He has extensive experience treating children with dizziness, loss of consciousness, palpitations or family history of sudden death. His practice includes radiofrequency ablation of tachycardia and pacemaker implantation and monitoring in children. He has pioneered various interventional procedures in the UAE, including ductal stenting, complex pulmonary artery stenting, transcatheter valve implantation and hybrid surgical procedures.
