Biography

Dr. Hyder Sakota is a Consultant Oral Surgeon at Burjeel Hospital, Abu Dhabi. He completed his BDS in 1989 and MFD RCSI in 2005. He is an active Member of the International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and a Fellow of the International Team of Implantology and Abu Dhabi Study Club Director. He also holds an MBA in Healthcare Management from the University of Wales, UK. Before joining Burjeel, Dr. Hyder Sakota worked as a Consultant Oral Surgeon in well-reputed government and private institutions in UAE for over 20 years. He also completed various training courses in implant dentistry from Australia, Germany, and Switzerland and a course in laser dentistry from New York University and the American Academy of Laser Dentistry. Dr. Hyder Sakota’s areas of expertise include oral surgery and implant dentistry, temporomandibular pain dysfunction syndrome treatment, full mouth rehabilitation with dental implants and crown and bridges, and treatment of atrophied ridges and complex implant cases.
