Biography

Dr. Vijai earned his Medical Degree (MBBS) in 1991 from the Armed Forces Medical College in Pune, India. He then received his Master’s degree (MD) from the same institution in 1998. Dr. Vijai earned a Fellowship in Neuroradiology from Sri Chitra Thirunal Institute of Medical Sciences and Technology (SCTIMST) in India in 2004. Dr. Vijai began his career as a Radiologist in 1995 at the Command Hospitals in India. He completed his Fellowship at the SCTIMST in India in 2003. He returned to Command Hospitals in 2005 as a Neuro and Interventional Radiologist. Dr. Vijai joined the Armed Forces Medical College in India in 2010 as the Head of Interventional Radiology and Associate Professor in the Department of Radiology and Imaging. Dr. Vijai is a physician with over 26 years of experience. Dr. Vijai is currently working as a Specialist Radiology and is Head of the Department at Burjeel Hospital, Abu Dhabi.
