Biography

Dr. Khaled Omar is a Gynecologist and Obstetrician at Burjeel Hospital, Abu Dhabi, specializing in laparoscopic procedures and high-risk obstetrics and gynecology. Dr. Khaled completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Obstetrics at the Fetal Care Centre of Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, the USA, from 2011 to 2015. He was recognized with the prestigious Research Excellence Award at national and International levels and accumulated over 20 published manuscripts and abstracts. He speaks both English and Arabic fluently. He has an excellent bedside manner and a natural ability to put patients at ease. His core competencies include general and high-risk obstetrics, surgeries for hysterectomy, myomectomy, genital prolapse, urinary incontinence, peritoneal adhesions, female adolescence, premenstrual syndrome (PMS, PMDD), hormone replacement therapy (HRT), laparoscopic surgery (endometriosis, polycystic ovary, ectopic pregnancy, ovarian cyst), colposcopies and management of abnormal pap smears; management of chronic pelvic pain and female sexual dysfunction; aesthetic gynecology, labiaplasty, hymenoplasty, and vulvar rejuvenation.
